In addition to this, Corndel has recently launched the Fundraising Diploma; an Institute of Fundraising accredited Levy-funded programme to upskill and support Fundraising professionals, and wider support roles, to deliver more for the third sector.As Partnerships Director, I support charities to utilise the Apprenticeship Levy to develop existing team members and help create the next generation of charity leaders. Apprenticeships are no longer just for those leaving school, the Levy can be used to enhance and empower existing team members. ABOUT ALI ORR TERRINGTON
Fundraising has always been a big passion of mine. Ever since my first Blue Peter \'bring & buy\' sale at the age of 11, I have been passionate about bringing people together for a good cause. I have been extremely fortunate within my career, from training as an Events Manager in a hotel to working for one of the UK\'s biggest charities, Cancer Research UK, to becoming Head of Events, Community and Corporate for Guy\'s and St Thomas\' NHS Trust; I have been able to gain great insight into the charity sector and change my passions into a career.I have been lucky to work across various income streams, from community to corporate, and with some of the most incredible companies, little and large, to grow multi-year strategic partnerships helping people across the UK, as well as with some of the most passionate and extraordinary individual fundraisers. Now, as Director of Charity Partnerships at Corndel- the UK\'s fastest-growing training provider - I feel privileged to be able to support charities to develop the next generation of leaders. Our mission is to transform learning & development opportunities across the third sector, and deliver world-class, accredited training, which is fully funded through the Apprenticeship Levy.
