More than 22 years of progressively responsible professional experience in transportation planning including Travel Demand Modeling and Forecasting, Community Involvement and Public engagement, and Transportation Grant Administration.Travel Demand Modeling and Forecasting – I work well independently and on teams to fulfill various Caltrans planning and project development needs in District 11, San Diego. This involves project and corridor level planning and travel forecasting, and related traffic and operational analysis for planning and capital outlay projects.Community Involvement and Public Engagement – For more than eight years, I worked effectively to ensure transportation decisions were the product of collaborative work and choices made jointly by all stakeholders. I also worked effectively to implement Context Sensitive Solution that makes it possible for Caltrans to maintain its responsibilities for safe, interregional mobility while being responsive to natural, cultural and built environments. Transportation Planning Grant Administration – I successfully managed Caltrans Transportation Planning Grant Program in District 11, San Diego, for more than eight years. I worked effectively with local agencies in completing the grant applications, and provided successful oversight and administration for project completion.
