Joined North Carolina Department of Information Technology in the role of Applications System Analyst II. Designated developer to support North Carolina Department of Adminstration (DOA), North Carolina Department of Military & Veterans Affairs (DMVA) and North Carolina State Ethics Commission. The first assigned project is Touchdown Project Management System which is used to capture and report the project process at NCDIT. The Ethics Modernization project is using Touchdown to track the project progress. The primary “legacy” database helps to track some individuals who file financial disclosure statements: https://ethics.nc.gov/seis This is the database that is being phased out to be replaced by a Dynamics based system. People filing these statements, referred to as “Statements of Economic Interest or SEIs,” may file them on paper or electronically. Around 90% of filers file electronically.
