Ali Schoos

Ali has been a leader in her field at the local, state, and national level. She has started her private practice company twice, the current iteration in 1998. Between private practices, she managed the Seattle region for a national company. Ali has mentored many Physical therapists who have gone on to own their own practices and taken on leadership roles at the state and national level themselves. She has served on the Washington State boards of the orthopedic and private practice special interest groups, as the state APTA chapter insurance liaison, participates in advocacy work in the legislative arena for the physical therapy profession as a key contact at the state and national level, and served on the board of directors for the Private Practice Section of the American Physical Therapy Association. She is currently serving on the APTA Private Practice Nominating Committee and as a Trustee for the APTA PTPAC. She helped develop and produce the APTA telehealth certification course and contributed to the Primary Care PT initiatives of APTA.Ali co-founded Peak Sports and Spine Physical Therapy with her husband in 1998. It is a group of outpatient private practices, with emphasis in sports orthopedics injuries and preventive care/fitness. We offer specialty services for women\'s health, running assessment, orthotics, vestibular rehabilitation, sports readiness via SFMA, personal training, and small group conditioning classes.
