I’ve spent over 25 years doing work that sits at the intersection of clinical care and human possibility — helping patients recover, organizations grow, and communities become more inclusive.My career has taken me from school-based pediatric OT on Long Island to the acute care floor at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, NC, with stops along the way as a Regional VP, Director of Operations overseeing 130+ rehab departments nationwide, and founder of both a private practice and a nonprofit adaptive sports organization.What drives me hasn’t changed: the belief that occupational therapy is one of the most powerful — and underrecognized — forces in healthcare. Whether I’m working with a child navigating sensory challenges, a post-surgical patient rebuilding independence, or a wheelchair athlete competing on a football field, the mission is the same: restore function, restore dignity, restore life.A few highlights from my journey:→ Director of Operations at Phyt Rehab, where I helped build a national rehab company from the ground up and oversaw clinical programs across 130+ facilities.→ Founder of East End Athletics Inc, a nonprofit enabling individuals with disabilities to compete in adaptive sports — including co-developing an assistive device for wheelchair athletes in partnership with university biomedical engineering teams.→ Founder and President of Sports OT LLC, where I partner with agencies to provide Occupational Therapy services in a variety of settings including private sports training and mentorship. → Actively working on finalizing The OT Voice Podcast, consisting of 5 seasons and speaking to New Grads, seasoned therapists experiencing burnout, patients receiving therapy, parents of children with disabilities and leadership and the future.→ Currently providing acute care and outpatient OT at Onslow Memorial Hospital, returning to direct clinical practice with the same passion I started with.I hold licenses in New York and North Carolina and am nationally certified through NBCOT.If you’re in the OT world, rehab leadership, adaptive sports, or healthcare administration — I’d love to connect.
