An AI Student forever.As part of my PhD research and dissertation, I\'m currently developing advanced open-source applications that focus on optimizing information extraction and ensuring the safety of large language models (LLMs). My contributions include:I\'m a PhD candidate in Biomedical Informatics at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. My research focuses on machine learning prediction of early in-hospital mortality in lung cancer patients using administrative healthcare data.I\'m also the founder of NEMATI AI LLC. I build and ship production AI applications—not just prototypes. I currently operate indox.org (document conversion), and pencilly.us (collaborative drawing tool).My technical stack covers the full pipeline: ML model development, Django backends, React/Next.js frontends, PostgreSQL databases, and production infrastructure including Docker, CI/CD, and multi-environment deployments.I believe the hardest part of ML isn\'t building the model—it\'s deploying it reliably and maintaining it in production. That\'s where I focus my energy.
