ABOUT ALI MUZAFFAR
As a double major in Studio Art and Architectural Studies at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, I am passionate about the intersection of art, architecture, and cultural history. With a diverse background in both studio practices and academic research, my work explores the materiality of domestic spaces, urban landscapes, and their emotional resonance in everyday life.I have developed a unique approach to artmaking, drawing inspiration from both traditional and contemporary practices, particularly through miniature painting and urban sketching. My experiences as a research collaborator, artist, and intern have deepened my understanding of exhibition planning, collection management, and art history research. As a Writing Colleague, I support students in developing their writing and analytical skills, fostering collaboration in an academic setting. Through my involvement in various international projects, including the Julius J. Blocker Fellowship in Berlin, I continue to refine my artistic and curatorial research, while contributing to meaningful dialogues about art and culture.I am always seeking opportunities to engage with fellow artists, curators, and researchers to expand my practice and contribute to the global art community.
