ABOUT ALI MONIRI
As a pavement engineer at Vancouver Airport Authority, I apply my PhD knowledge and expertise in pavement rehabilitation to implementing Airport Pavement Management Systems and airfield pavement rehabilitation. I conduct pavement condition survey, analyze the pavement structural capacity, calculate pavement thickness, calculate life cycle cost and recommend optimal rehabilitation and maintenance solutions using different technologies, such as hot and cold in-place asphalt recycling, full depth reclamation, roller compacted concrete, and various asphalt overlays.
