ABOUT ALI KHAKBAZAN
Ali is a seasoned Fire Protection/Process Safety Engineer with master’s degree in chemical engineering and more than 13 years of experience in engineering design, project & portfolio management, and business development in Oil & Gas industry. He has strong knowledge and experience in handling industrial projects from proposal and feasibility study to implementation and commissioning.Ali is proficient in various fire protection systems design (sprinkler, deluge, foam. clean agent), process hazard analysis methods (HAZOP, LOPA, SIL Determination & Verification). Ali has extensive experience in developing computer process simulation models to analyze fire and explosion. Ali has been involved in preparing consequence analysis and QRA studies (using software such as Pyrosym, Phast and Safeti) and compressible fluid hydraulic behaviour analysis (both in steady state and transient modes using AFT software). Ali is a NFPA Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) and Project Management Professional (PMP). Ali also is an AI Enthusiastic with In-depth statistical knowledge of machine learning models and hands-on experience with Python programming and data visualization using Power BI tool and has a keen interest in application of Artificial intelligence in Robotic Process Automation.
