A seasoned database, software engineer and cloud systems architect with 10 years of experience in multiple SQL database engines (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQL) and PL\\SQL8 years of AWS services and virtualization experience 5 years of software engineering experience (mainly Python and Typescript)4 years in Docker and Kubernetes experienceSuccessfully built a web-based platform from the ground up to track millions of refugees’ bio, assessments, assistance data and produced data analysis across multiple countries,utilizing skills such as front-end programming (Javascript), back-end programming (Java\\Spring) and database development (PostgreSQL) and setting up and maintaining Linux servers.For the past 4 years I\'ve been designing and implementing AWS solutions and large-scale migrations utilizing AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, RDS and Cloudformation.Currently working on a project with components such as: Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Okta integration (for SSO/authentication/authorization) and Angular 2 to convert server\\VM based environments into highly available and load balanced micro services.I\'m very interested in Rust programming and currently implementing side projects to add Rust to my tool beltmy style of coding- Never nester (no more than 3 levels of nesting)- Switch all linters on strict mode or my pride will take a hit- Actually enjoys concurrency and parallelism- Believes language specific idiomatic design beat design patterns almost every time (and it\'s always perfect when they line up)
