Lead the design team in development of an autonomous swimming robot for pipeline inspection. • Navigated the project on several design fronts, through an aggressive timeline. • Developed several analytical models to describe the kinematics of the robot inside the O&G pipes. • Developed a creative and compact packaging, with sufficient cooling capacity, for high power-density electronics inside the robot. • Studied and implemented a wide range of exotic materials to satisfy multiple competing requirements such as, weight, strength, thermal, compatibility and durability. • Created a number of test plans for performance verification and de-risking of the designs.
