   As the Communications & Events Manager at Kollab Youth, I support the organization’s mission by executing communication strategies, managing events, and creating content that elevates our work with youth across Los Angeles County. My role involves collaborating with team members, partners, and stakeholders to ensure effective outreach, event planning, and content creation.Key responsibilities:Event Planning & Coordination: Collaborate with the team to plan and execute events such as master classes, field trips, and the Annual Teen Summit. I handle logistics, coordinate materials, and ensure smooth communication between stakeholders, sponsors, and youth participants.Content Creation & Reporting: Produce marketing materials, including flyers, press releases, social media posts, and PowerPoint presentations. I create visually appealing reports showcasing program impact, success stories, and youth testimonials to present to partners, board members, and sponsors.Social Media & Newsletter Management: Lead the development and distribution of our bi-weekly newsletter, and work closely with our social media manager on content for Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and Facebook. I handle photography, approval, and ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.Partnership Outreach & Testimonials: Engage with partners, mentors, and youth to gather valuable testimonials, content for social media, and feedback. This includes securing biweekly text/video testimonials to showcase the impact of our program.Media Relations & PR: Develop press releases and pitch story ideas to media outlets. I help manage media relationships to promote our events, partnerships, and program outcomes.Project Coordination: Manage my own tasks and deadlines, ensuring the timely execution of multiple projects. I track project goals, monitor progress, and compile reports to assess outcomes and highlight key successes.
