ABOUT ALI EGHTESADI

As a software developer at Microsoft, I design, develop, and maintain custom reporting tools that deliver reports to Nuance clients through sftp. I use Python, Django, C#, Azure, and other technologies to create scalable and reliable solutions that meet the clients\' needs and expectations.I also lead projects to replace old legacy jobs with new maintainable tools in Python, and to create a Python Django dashboard tool for easier monitoring and rerunning of processes. I collaborate with other developers, testers, and managers to ensure the quality and efficiency of the products and services we deliver.Previously, I worked as a software developer at diff, where I created systems that communicate between ERP systems and ecommerce platforms, such as Shopify and Spree. I deployed systems to AWS EC2 instances with AWS RDS databases for automation, and used Shopify REST Admin API and webhooks to capture events from Shopify systems. I also created customized admin applications for clients, and upgraded older applications to the most recent version of Rails and Ruby.I have a bachelor\'s degree in software engineering from Concordia University, where I learned the fundamentals of web services and web applications, as well as other skills such as PHP, databases, Ruby on Rails, and OpenGL. I also participated in the HackPrinceton Competition in 2015, where I demonstrated my creativity and problem-solving abilities.I am passionate about developing innovative and user-friendly software solutions that solve real-world problems and add value to customers and businesses. I am always eager to learn new technologies and tools, and to improve my skills and knowledge. I am also a team player who values collaboration, feedback, and diversity.
