Engaging with individuals regarding their abilities, interests and goals and connecting them with potential jobs in the community • Supporting job seekers in overcoming barriers to employment and facilitate job training for tasks specific to the individual’s job function • Supporting job seekers with upskilling through workshops, training programmes and work experience placements • Building relationships with local employers, colleges, and training providers • Reaching monthly KPI’S • Using Excel to create spreadsheets from data extracted on Power BI to collate daily reports • Using initiative to set up session with employers such as Amazon and Hello Fresh to invite participate to meet the employers and be put forward for roles, successfully achieved a large turnout of 26 people with 60% progressing to the next stage • Deliver coaching and mentoring using a wide range of assessment techniques, clear target setting and action planning, using appropriate levels of challenge • Reviewing clients\' CV\'s and suggesting improvements as needed or book them onto CV workshops or meet with NCS advisers for further CV or employment support. • Maintaining accurate records of clients\' progress through regular appointments, face to face and through telephone or MS teams. • Liaise with the wider team regarding networking opportunities to source local jobs; following this, lead the screening of suitable candidates to ensure they fit the criteria expected from employers • Promote new vacancies sourced via work channels and social media to increase engagement and boost referrals; ensure that vacancies are advertised to a high standard to guarantee maximum interest • Proactively identify potential leads to secure strong relationships with employers across the community • Engage with employment coaches to enquire what vacancies generate more interest so more focus is placed on this to generate an increase in job starts • Awarded top performer across all Serco offices in England.
