ABOUT ALI AZIZI
I am a Mass Spectrometry Scientist II at Dalriada Drug Discovery, a leading contract research organization that provides innovative solutions for drug discovery and development. I have a PhD in Analytical Chemistry and over eight years of experience in mass spectrometry, chromatography, and sample preparation, working with biological and environmental samples. In my current and previous roles, I have developed and performed various types of MS-based assays, from small molecules (drugs and pollutants) to proteins, using instruments such as UPLC-MS/MS, LC-TOF, GC-MS, and GC-MS/MS. I have also built and operated in-house ion sources for direct MS analysis, and automated sample preparation for high-throughput screening. I have published several peer-reviewed papers and one patent in this field. I am passionate about advancing the science and technology of mass spectrometry for drug discovery and other applications.
