ABOUT ALI ASGER ABBAS
I am a Consultant at Wood, where I provide carbon advisory and sustainability services to clients in the energy sector. My goal is to help them achieve their net-zero emissions and environmental targets, by applying my process engineering expertise and commercial simulation software skills. I have over three years of experience as a Process Engineer, working at Wood and SAGA Global Consultants. I have prepared and checked various process deliverables, such as PFDs, P & IDs, PSFS, and equipment and instrument specifications. I have also participated in technical and safety reviews, such as PHA, HAZOP, and LOPA, and provided process support to other engineering disciplines. I have successfully worked on multiple projects across different regions and domains, demonstrating my data analysis, optimization, and troubleshooting abilities, as well as my teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Petrochemical Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, and have completed several courses and certifications in Measurement while Drilling, Logging while Drilling, Well Control, Cementing, and Mud Logging. I am passionate about energy and sustainability, and motivated to contribute to the transition to a low-carbon economy.
