Assist in the planning and development of capital projects, working closely with the maintenance and operations departments to align projects with the annual Capital Improvement Program. Responsibilities include creating project cost estimates and schedules, preparing technical specifications in coordination with originating departments, and supporting the Procurement Department in packaging and soliciting bids.This role provides engineering and inspection services throughout the duration of capital projects, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards. It involves maintaining all project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and schedules, as well as overseeing the project acceptance process with contractors and stakeholders. Additionally, the position manages design work orders with architectural/engineering firms and oversees the creation and management of Job Order Contract (JOC) work orders.
