About Ali Akhtari

As a Graduate Student Instructor and Researcher at the University of Michigan, I am pursuing my PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on understanding convection in magnetohydrodynamics using numerical simulations. I have more than five years of work experience in academia and industry, including three and a half years as a part-time Full Stack Develope. I have developed skills in Fortran, Ansys Fluent, Matlab, C#, and other programming languages and tools. I am passionate about applying my knowledge and skills to solve complex engineering problems. I believe collaboration and innovation can solve almost all problems. I strive to contribute to the academic community and the society at large.

My role involved optimizing workflows for improved imaging accuracy and conducting quality control checks to ensure data reliability.
