About Alfredo Serrano Figueroa

I didn\'t move to the U.S with a network or a plan. I moved at 18 with a soccer scholarship, a suitcase, and the kind of confidence that only exists before you realize how much you don\'t know. I graduated Summa Cum Laude, taught myself data science, and spent the next four years figuring out how the corporate world actually works. Now I work for the world\'s largest banks as a Senior Data Scientist, developing and validating models across algorithmic trading, climate risk, cybersecurity, and financial crime in highly regulated environments. I lead the U.S. AI Hub at Management Solutions, serving as internal SME within 2LoD frameworks across the U.S, Europe, and Central America while completing an accelerated graduate program in Statistics and Data Science at MIT IDSS. I create content for students and early career professionals in data science, finance, and consulting who are trying to figure out how the corporate world actually works. My content reaches people monthly on LinkedIn, recognized as Top Voice 2024 and 2025 and Favikon Top 50 Data Science Creator in the U.S. 2025 and 2026.
