About Alfredo Benites
Hi, I’m Alfredo! I’m a sophomore in the Honors College at Miami Dade College, pursuing Computer Science with a focus on software engineering and scalable systems.This past summer, I interned at the Air Force Research Laboratory, where I developed core game logic and UI systems in Unity to support national defense simulations. At MDC, I serve as President of INIT Kendall, leading workshops, organizing career-prep initiatives, and helping students strengthen their technical and professional skills.Outside of class, I enjoy learning about personal finance (credit cards and investing), going to the gym, and working on my truck’s sound system.Long term, I plan to transfer to a top computer science program and keep chasing opportunities that challenge me to grow and let me give back along the way.
