   2022 – Present: I teach graduate and undergraduate courses in the Department of Professional Studies, focusing on leadership, applied research, and career development for adult learners. At the graduate level, courses taught include Visionary Leadership, Conflict and Collaboration, and Professional Research Methods and Data Literacy. Undergraduate instruction includes Bachelor’s Capstone in Professional Studies, Communicating Professionalism, Academic Prior Learning Portfolio, and You and Professional Studies: Creating Pathways to Success.In addition to teaching, I contribute through service and administrative roles within my designated areas. As a Faculty Senate member, I help shape policy recommendations and serve as a liaison between faculty, administration, and my home department. I also guide students through two advising pathways for Individual Learning Plans (ILPs). For independent learners in self-paced courses, I collaborate directly with students to build ILPs aligned to degree requirements and career objectives. For students in traditional online courses, I review audit reports to determine required coursework and provide this information to faculty coaches, who then collaborate with students to finalize their ILPs. I also help oversee the electronic signature process, ensuring students have a clear, personalized path to degree completion.Finally, I support the Professional Studies program as a faculty mentor, course lead, and portfolio reviewer. I mentor new instructors, offer instructional support, and serve as a subject matter expert in my lead courses by developing content and contributing to curricular strategy when assigned. I also review student portfolios to assess prior learning for potential credit, which can be an important pathway to making education more accessible, efficient, and relevant for working adults.2020 – 2022:Adjunct faculty.
