Key Results:Global Planning – Four months into my role at Target, I acted as the lead planner on the Global Pod with Target India for several quarters, building a standardized weekly report (class and item level) that was successfully rolled out to all Target planners (200+ people).Back to School Forecasting – Achieved great forecast accuracy on my first Back-to-School season in 2023: sales $(2%) and margin $+1% to July pre-quarter forecast. I managed the only School & Office class with a positive comp during BTS 2023:+16% to 2022 vs a negative total department comp.Margin Improvement – Worked with the Office cross functional team to eliminate mistakes and optimize replenishment metrics that led to a (33%) reduction in markdowns in 2023. This improved margin by +190 bps, even with a (10%) comp.Holiday Investment Strategy – Challenged the historical weeks of supply goal for Q4 Scotch tape and ended the season with (61%) less inventory compared to last year (and prior years) while still achieving an almost flat unit comp,(1%) to LY.
