Hi, thank you for viewing my profile. I am an experienced NED and Board chair with audit & risk committee chair and remuneration committee chair experience seeking further NED or consultancy roles. I have a background in utility, healthcare, construction and regulation. I have expertise in strategy, business planning, finance and regulation with substantial consultancy and interim management experience. As well as having an MA from Cambridge and an MBA I am also a qualified management accountant. I have over 30 years non-executive director experience across public and private sector organisations including three years with a large NHS Foundation Trust, six months chairing a £100m turnover energy company and 15 years chairing ARCs. I currently chair Bristol Holdings, which owns a housing and a waste company, and I successfully helped them sell their energy companies. I have recently completed two NED roles with the Northern Ireland Utility Regulator and with Nexus Infrastructure, an AIM quoted construction and energy transition company; in both of these roles I chaired the audit and risk committee I was Regulation Director of a gas network for 4 years and I have substantial strategic experience as Head of Strategic Planning at a FTSE50 utility for 7 years.I am an economist with strong finance and regulatory skills. I have completed interim assignments for Regulators and Government, most recently for the NHS regulator where I led a project to determine tariffs for hospitals and smart metering for DECC where I set up and chaired industry groups, wrote a public consultation and obtained Board approval for policy.
