About Alex Widmer
I’m a second-generation leader helping steward and grow my family’s restaurant brand, Petros (formerly Chili & Chips) Love at First Bite — a Knoxville original serving “Love at First Bite” since 1982.Before returning to the family business, my first entrepreneurial chapter took me to 17 countries across 5 continents as a filmmaker, brand storyteller, and marketing strategist. Those years taught me more about leadership, risk, people, and humility than any classroom ever could.Since 2019, I’ve been back in the business as COO, helping lead a 40-year-old “startup” through its next chapter.
