Development Team Leader @Fasthosts

A multifarious role facilitating a large development team consisting of experienced colleagues with various functions, including software developers, architecture leads, UX experts and QA. This role requires robust application of Scrum based methodologies to deliver results against a busy and rapidly evolving development programme - all while reducing technical debt and balancing the team\'s third line technical support commitments. I fulfil a crucial bridging role between my development team, product owners, senior stakeholders and the wider business - with the aim of reducing friction and helping the team to track successes, knowledge sharing, lessons learnt and future improvements to make. My responsibilities also extend to general line management, hiring/onboarding and performance management. It’s also great to keep my development skills refreshed in this role, with no aversion to getting my hands dirty with some code where I can assist. Languages and technologies refreshed in this role include: PHP Python Delphi / Pascal JavaScript / Vue Docker Kubernetes (OKD4) CI/CD Shell scripting NodeJS + a little dabbling with C# from time to time
