About Alex Sprouse

Much like Bruce Springsteen - I was born in the USA. As a toddler I relocated to Canada. Then later, back to the US. And once more to Canada. Leaving me expectant and confused about health insurance, and with un vocabulaire français manquant.(thx Google ) But it also left me with 2 strong influences. Living in Canada with my Mum - a paralegal, and in the US with my Dad - a truck driver. I learnt that rules are meant to be broken, and that sticking out is better than status quo. All of that said - my parents don’t really “get” what I do for a living. But honestly, it\'s hard for me to define too. I’ve been working in this business for 10 years now, and no two days have been the same. I’ve sold cars, motor oil, service to fix those cars I sold, beer, buzzy seltzer water, medieval fun for the family, yogurt, insurance, nasal spray, TVs. I’ve anti-sold smoking to teens. I’ve re-launched a beloved coffee brand, pranked McDonald’s, created AR-shoppable street art, raised awareness for climate change amongst moms, and worked to end domestic violence. & I’ve been lucky to be able to step on stage for a few of those things. Beyond work - I like long bike rides on the bridge, making computer music, and obsessively scrolling r/UFOS. I make dance music under the alias Kindbody (I swear I had the name first ), and I also recently launched a music label called Bodily Conduct. Oh, and just to be clear - I’ve now moved back again to the US, where I’m happily living/working remotely from Brooklyn, NY. TLDR; He’s American. He’s Canadian. He\'s worn a lot of hats, but is tickled that he gets paid to wear them. He\'s been lucky to have his work awarded and recognized by the industry. He also loves making music and wants to believe.
