About Alex Sorochinski
Someone told me once to \"Find your passion, and the rest will follow\". Cheesy? Yes - but when I found my passion, I realized it couldn\'t be more true. I could put a lot of jargon and buzzwords here, but that’s not what makes me stand out. My passion is to make technology, networks, and infrastructure work, but more importantly, helping others succeed. I’m a creative problem solver charged with using my skills and knowledge to provide professionally effective tools to empower my users to have access to anything they need to do their job with ease. While being highly technical in nature I enjoy spending my time showing others how to better use and understand technology, while managing the day-to-day operations of a world-class enterprise information technology infrastructure. It\'s my job to make IT something an organization can be proud of, which is rarely the case. I believe successful IT organizations must offer great customer service to all users, be transparent, be involved in the business, and be willing to help. Users should never feel that Information Technology is the department of ‘No’, or have to sigh before calling the helpdesk. Instead, IT should a friendly voice and a resource available to help, no matter how big or small.
