Dr. Sherm has a Doctorate in Business Administration, dual Master’s degrees in Mathematics and Economics, and multiple globally recognized certifications. He holds certifications from the Project Management Institute (PMI), the world\'s leading association for project, program, and portfolio management professionals, and The Global Association for Quality Management (GAQM)®: PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)® PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)® Certified Professional Accountant Manager (CPAM) Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Dr. Sherm is a seasoned financial executive with over two decades of global experience managing financial operations for NGOs and commercial entities. Starting his career at the Ministry of Finance in Uzbekistan, he swiftly rose through the ranks, serving as CFO and Deputy Minister of the Treasury Department. In addition to his extensive financial expertise, Dr. Sherm has significant experience in higher education curriculum development. He has played a pivotal role in designing and developing academic programs at the bachelor\'s, master\'s, and doctorate levels. His contributions include creating innovative curricula that integrate industry standards and emerging global trends, ensuring graduates are well-equipped for the evolving job market. Dr. Sherm has collaborated with international organizations like the World Bank, The International Monetary Fund (IMF), USAID, the Asian Development Bank, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on multi-billion-dollar projects across Asia.
