ABOUT ALEXANDRE ALEX SATHLER
As a PhD student and NSF graduate research fellow, I thrive when bridging laboratory techniques and computational analysis for the rational engineering of biological traits that benefit human and environmental health. In the years before my graduate studies at Berkeley and UCSF, I engineered bench -> silicone -> discovery pipelines for projects in fields ranging from aging and diagnostics to neurodegeneration and bioprocess engineering.Outside the lab, I am a passionate contributor to professional development and entrepreneurship in the academic community. I currently support Nucleate Bay Area\'s mission to enable entrepreneurial researchers of all career stages in their ventures.
