Alexsa is an experienced civil litigator who, in private practice, focused her trial practice on employment and labor law and business litigation. Alexsa currently serves as in-house counsel for FM, an international commercial property insurer with over 5,500 employees.In her capacity as legal counsel, Alexsa oversees all aspects of litigation management, including investigation of potential subrogation actions and involvement in various insurance coverage matters, and advises on aspects of internal employment matters, including issues related to compliance and regulatory matters, risk management, policy revisions, restrictive covenant agreements, severance agreements, employee training materials, internal workplace investigations, the hiring, disciplining, and discharging of employees, and all aspects of litigation. Alexsa is skilled in alternative dispute resolution, having handled numerous arbitrations and mediations, which she continues to participate in on behalf of FM. Prior to Alexsa\'s current practice, she was a Judicial Law Clerk in the Rhode Island Supreme Court Law Clerk Department, after which she practiced at Locke Lord LLP and then Littler Mendelson P.C. Alexsa graduated summa cum laude from Roger Williams University School of Law and summa cum laude from Bryant University. She is licensed to practice law in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
