About Alexander Morales

My name is Alex Morales, and I am a Computer Engineering student at Purdue University. I am pursuing opportunities in software development, focusing on Computer Vision and Dynamic Robotics. I have developed several independent projects using Java and Python, building a strong foundation in programming. I enjoy teaching and have led classes in programming and swimming for young learners over the past four years. I also contribute to my community as a Project Manager for my EPICS team and as a former wrestling team captain, leading a group of over 30 members in high school. At Purdue, I stay involved as an ECE Ambassador and a member of Student Government. In my free time, I like playing soccer, wrestling, and running. I also explore creative outlets such as digital art, video production, and piano.

   Developed an API that organized approximately records of real student data in a database on MongoDB that connected to a live website that analyzes student data and outputs optimal class recommendations using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js and Express.js- Sole presenter of my team’s project during two EPICS end-of-semester poster presentation conventions, where I conducted livedemonstrations in front of 200+ faculty members, professors, and students- Lead a team of engineers by organizing weekly team meetings, delegating tasks, logging all progress, facilitating communication with the clients and supervised presentations for financial budgets and design proposals-Raised hundreds of dollars in funding towards maintenance of the project\'s network
