In my role at NYU Langone Health, I oversee emergency management and enterprise resilience programs for the organization\'s Manhattan-based operations. Specifically, I am responsible for managing emergency preparedness, response, and recovery efforts across 230 facilities, which include a 700-bed academic medical center, a 100-bed orthopedic hospital, 8 ambulatory care centers, a growing number of faculty group practices, and the NYU Grossman School of Medicine.As a team leader, it is my responsibility to guide and support a group of five employees. I do so by setting a distinct strategic direction, establishing goals, providing ongoing guidance, and removing barriers to help them complete their tasks. My motivation lies in seeing my staff achieve success at work. I accomplish this by creating opportunities for their growth and development, enabling them to realize their full potential and fulfill their career aspirations. My ultimate objective is to cultivate a work environment that is positive and productive, where my team feels supported and empowered to perform their best work.
