ABOUT ALEX RAUFOGLU
Alex Raufoglu is the chief Washington correspondent for Kyiv Post. He covers the U.S. State Department, regularly traveling with U.S. Secretary of State. He worked extensively in the South Caucasus and Black Sea regions. Raufoglu holds an MA in Interactive Journalism from American University, Washington D.C. Before moving to Washington in 2008, he worked for international broadcast outlets like the BBC, RFE/RL, and VoA in the South Caucasus and Black Sea regions. For over 15 years, he represented Azerbaijan\'s last remaining independent news agency, TURAN, in the United States.He is also a Board Member of the Club of Foreign Press Correspondents in the United States.
