About Alex Purvines
As a junior at the University of Arizona majoring in Finance, I started a job as a social media manager at my campus\' Student Union because my previous job no longer had a need for me and I was recommended to move departments. I thought it would be easy enough to post on social media for the Student Union, as I already had plenty of experience posting on social media for myself. A few months later, I was obsessed with my job and added Marketing as a second major. Now I\'ve been working in marketing and social media for 5+ years and I love it so much, I also teach introductory marketing and social media classes as an Adjunct Professor at a community college.
