WORK HISTORY
Vice President @Dodge & Cox
I lead Dodge & Cox efforts in the liability hedging/LDI space with investment, client service, and business responsibilities, with additional contributions to ad-hoc projects, including the development of long-term capital market assumptions, asset allocation for multi-asset clients, solutions for Taft-Hartley plans, fixed income attribution, and quantitative projects. Investment responsibilities: As a member of the five-person Liability Hedging Implementation Team, I contribute to top-level portfolio risk management (duration, DTS, KRDs, ex ante tracking error, etc.), portfolio harmonization within and across composites and custom accounts, research projects, and investment commentary. Client-facing responsibilities: I lead Dodge & Cox thought leadership efforts and publications in the pension space, oversee liability-hedging client materials, partner with other client PMs on LDI/pension clients, and serve as a lead client PM on 8 corporate and OCIO relationships (DB and DC plans, various fixed income strategies). Business responsibilities: I develop credit and liability-hedging strategies and solutions including vehicles and fees; build awareness of Dodge & Cox offerings among plan sponsors, consultants, and OCIOs; and provide education on the pension space within the firm.
