ABOUT ALEX NIU

As an Audit Associate at Deloitte, I apply my financial reporting and accounting skills to provide high-quality audit services to various clients across the Banking and Financial Services industry. I also leverage my data analytics knowledge to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of audit processes and deliver insights to clients. I graduated from the Master of Science in Accountancy with Data Analytics Concentration program at University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business, where I learned how to use advanced tools and techniques to solve complex accounting and business problems. I have a bachelor\'s degree in Accounting from University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Prior to joining Deloitte, I was a Tax Intern at KPMG, where I assisted with tax compliance and advisory projects, and a Teacher Assistant at Maikaorui English Education, where I instructed and coached students for the IELTS exam. I hold certifications in Pwc Assurance Academy Virtual Case Experience and Japanese Language Proficiency Test N1. I am passionate about learning new skills, collaborating with diverse teams, and delivering value to clients and stakeholders. I have also developed a keen interest in the Financial Services and Banking industry through my engagements with my clients and learning on the job of their operational methodologies like control processes and financial models.
