One day, my tiny chihuahua annoyed my neighbors so much that I had to invent a device — and ended up building an entire company that helps people stay connected with their pets and care for their safety and wellbeing.That idea became Petcube, a global pet tech brand. Over 13+ years, I led the company from a napkin sketch to millions of devices in homes around the world.– Spent 3 years in China working hands-on with factories– Built and led a cross-functional team across engineering and product– Launched 11 hardware products from concept to mass production (some in under 8 months)– Scaled manufacturing to 1M+ devices through strong supplier partnerships– Led product strategy and development across hardware, software, and AI, building systems that see, sense, and act.– Launched smart cameras, pet wearables, and IoT devices, and developed ML models for pet activity detection, enabling real-time video, behavior classification, and health alerts.I’m passionate about creating products people truly want, blending engineering depth with product vision.And while I work at the level of strategy, roadmap, and leadership today, I was once a hardware guy — always a hardware guy. The solder burn scar on my finger still reminds me who I am. On weekends, you’ll often find me in my garage, building a prototype nail trimmer that knows precisely where not to cut or an AI bike assistant for my daughter.
