ABOUT ALEX MEGELAS
At Concordia University\'s Applied AI Institute, I lead multi-stakeholder collaborations with governments, companies and international partners. My work covers AI adoption, commercialization of research and delivery of solutions to industry and the public sector. In parallel, I am a sessional lecturer at Saint Paul University (Ottawa), where I teach theoretical and practical courses in mediation, community engagement, and civic governance, anchoring my approach in applied research and stakeholder coordination. I am also currently a candidate for Mayor of Anjou with Projet Montréal, where I bring this same commitment to collaborative, inclusive, and forward-looking governance to the local level.
