ABOUT ALEX MAISTROS

I am a wealth of skincare and cosmetics product knowledge, and am passionate to extend that information to others. With ample field education, product education and coaching skills, I am competent and confident in the Cosmetics Field. Starting with obtaining a Cosmetology license in 2010, I have over ten years of professional cosmetic retail sales experience. I have had a variety of roles including Area Partnerships Education and Sales Management, Store and Team Management, Education Specialist, Brand Representative, Sales Associate and Makeup Artist. I have worked with large department stores and makeup chains, as well as smaller start up brands and boutiques. Additionally, I have worked in salons, have led makeup teams for theatre companies, photographers and videographers, and have traveled cross-country for freelance events for 14+ years. In addition to my Cosmetics skills, I have extensive experience multi-tasking relationships with multiple brands, and cross-selling on the spot while remaining loyal to the client interests. I am also proficient in Microsoft Suite, Human Relations, Conflict Resolution, and General Management. As mentioned, I have a Cosmetology license (2010) and a BFA in Fine Arts from Columbia College Chicago (2014).
