I am an advisor and an architect, and this should mean someone who’s eclectic and passionate enough to speak the language of the customer to challenge his/her vision and, at the same time, design sustainable solutions that keeps in consideration the people, the organisation, and the technology (in this order). I love to learn and discover: a profession should be just one expression of what one can do for himself and the others. I had the chance to explore several industries: consumer goods, retail, energy and utilities, FSI, government, healthcare. My work as advisor continuously challenges my technical, business, and team management skills. Every day, I am exploring different cloud models and innovative IT operational models with my clients. It is inherently a continuous challenge. I advocated for Blockchain technology and I have pioneered projects in this field. While I’m passionate about all technologies and understanding the human ingredient that makes things happen, my academic background is in DBMS and artificial intelligence. As former CTO in a web agency, I also have experience in the media industry, practice management, budgeting, and delivery of web and mobile solutions on several platforms. I’m experienced in Application Lifecycle Management, program and project management with agile methodologies. In the first years of my career I was focused instead on Java/J2EE technologies and on Open Source development.
