ABOUT ALEX LU

I currently lead TD’s flagship Station Square branch in Burnaby—one of the largest and most diverse locations in Canada. With over 12 years at TD and experience managing four different branches since 2018, my focus has always been consistent: put people first, lead by example, and grow through service. As a first-generation immigrant who came to Canada in 2006 as an international student, I still remember opening my first bank account at TD. Today, I help others do the same—at that very branch. That journey keeps me grounded and deeply committed to supporting our New to Canada communities through accessible banking, financial literacy, and meaningful partnerships. I’m also proud to serve on the Board of Directors for Burnaby Family Life, a local non-profit dedicated to empowering immigrant and underserved families. This work complements my purpose at TD—to build stronger, more inclusive communities where no one is left behind. My leadership style is shaped by experience, but grounded in values: develop our colleagues, support the community, and create space for others to thrive.
