Senior machine learning engineer building scalable AI systems that sit at the center of clinical and scientific decision-making. Currently at Paradigm Health, where I work on the LLM and RAG systems behind patient-trial matching, helping automate clinical trial eligibility screening across the largest oncology research network in the U.S. I gravitate toward problems where ML meets messy, real-world constraints: noisy data, ambiguous scientific requirements, LLMs that need to be reliable and measurable before they can be useful. I care most about the work between \"this model kind of works\" and \"this is production-ready\"- building the eval frameworks, debugging the subtle failure modes, and making the hard cost/performance tradeoffs that turn a prototype into something a clinician can actually trust. The common thread: I like building production AI in regulated, high-stakes environments, and I care a lot about doing it rigorously and responsibly.
