I\'m a communicator at heart with 24 years of experience helping agencies and project teams build consensus around complex, important infrastructure projects and policies that affect quality of life. On transportation, water, energy and land use projects, I\'ve helped clients conduct thoughtful engagement programs that build trust, bridge divides and create solutions.Over the years, I’ve developed and led community engagement programs that bring people into the conversation—especially those who’ve historically been left out. I specialize in planning and facilitating meaningful events and dialogues, creating accessible materials (from social media and websites to exhibits and print pieces), and guiding outreach efforts that bring members of the communities along on the regions most impactful projects, allowing them to contribute to issues that affect them. I speak conversational Spanish, and am comfortable presenting in both English and Spanish in small group settings.I have a strong foundation in public involvement, an understanding of tribal and underserved populations, and a genuine passion for helping people feel seen, heard and included. I also bring a wide network, a love of story sharing, and a way of messaging technical topics so they feel human and relevant. I speak conversational Spanish with a smattering of technical vocabulary, and passable French. When not working on amazing projects, I enjoy my kids, pups, yoga, pickleball, live music and taking naps.
