I firmly believe, and my own witness, that a music contract is giving someone permission to steal music. The land of opportunity does not exist in the music world, it is an opportunity for the wealthy, with manufactured music, laced with violence, image, sex. It appers that the real musicians do not have chance, There are many independent musicians, and bands that never make it because the music industry and producers only select people with an image. Sex and violence contained in manufactured music, only make it. Much of todays music contains no real musicians or instruments of any kind. Not getting any revenue from my fifteen albums has keep me in proverty, and very little to work with. On my desk there are twenty full length albums, all mastered with my Pro Tools, and ready to go, but that is not going to happen. I have had placements in movies, TV, and many other places, but have not seen a nickle. All my unreleased music will be taken to my grave.
