Founded in Iceland in 2005; Rafnar developed a unique line of rigid inflatable boats with a specialized hull to reduce slamming by up to 90%, these vessels were originally developed for naval special forces, military, and search & rescue operations.In recent years the brand has successfully entered the leisure market across Europe, with a luxury version of its tactical vessels targeted at high-end consumers for tenders and everyday use. In May 2023 Rafnar decided to launch its line of leisure boats in the USA debuting at the Miami International Boat Show.As a strategic marketing advisor my role has been to liaise between HQ\'s marketing team in order to craft effective brand positioning strategies & go-to-market plans for the US consumer market, ensuring the US sales teams are set up for success.As part of the brand positioning and lead generation aspects, my strategies are crafted in tandem with the creative departments to ensure content is integrated into the US marketing campaigns, appealing to the buyer personas established for the US market.
