The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention leads the fight against suicide. AFSP funds research, creates educational programs, advocates for public policy, and supports those affected by suicide. Headquartered in New York, AFSP has chapters in all 50 states. At AFSP I promoted the organization to national journalists, formed partnerships with other organizations, and shared the message with the public that suicide is preventable. Reporting to the Vice President of Communications and Marketing, I also managed the Social Media Manager. I began my role at the organization the week after Robin Williams died by suicide.
