Stepping away from my career to be a stay-at-home mom felt incredibly risky, but the risk paid off when I received an offer from Scripps College\'s Office of Career Planning & Resources!I am so thrilled to be on a small but mighty team of five serving 1200 incredible students at this elite women\'s college - one of the last women\'s colleges in the U.S. In this role, I manage the student staff (probably my favorite job I\'ve ever had-my developer is on full display, and it is a joy to see these students grow and achieve great things) and provide career education programming and counseling. I also serve as the Pre-Law Advisor, where I collaborate with student orgs to provide relevant support, including LSAT prep, law school intros, and career basics training.
