About Alexis Quinney
Fashion is both an industry and a cultural force and I work at that intersection. As a Senior Operations Analyst at Levi Strauss & Co, I focus on streamlining merchandise planning and inventory management, and integrating emerging technologies to improve product flow. My work is rooted in connecting cross-functional teams and making complex operational processes run cleaner and faster. I\'m an active volunteer lead within Project Onyx, Levi\'s ERG dedicated to cultivating and sustaining positive relationships between the company and its Black employees. As Level Up Pillar Lead, I co-developed Sips of Success, a monthly executive webcast series connecting early- to mid-career Black employees with LS & Co.\'s Black leaders for real, tactical career strategies. I also co-created Link Up, a peer networking experience that places Black employees in curated small groups to build cross-functional relationships, expand business acumen, and foster a stronger sense of belonging across the organization. I also volunteer on the MP & IM Ongoing Learning & Growth Initiatives team, where I facilitate the Merch Planning & Inventory Management Center Demand Mentorship Program across global teams spanning the US, Canada, Latin America, Europe, and Asia, and contribute to the AI growth initiative. Outside of Levi\'s, I\'ve spent time in the classroom as an adjunct faculty instructor, equipping the next generation of fashion designers with technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite, because strong operators and strong creatives aren\'t mutually exclusive. My published research, including Queering the Fashion Classroom: Intersectional Student Perspectives and Resistance & Resilience: An Afrocentric Collection of 3D Printed Jewelry and Digitally Printed Headwraps, explores how diverse identities reshape fashion education and culture. That perspective informs how I show up professionally: I believe the best teams, systems, and industries are built when everyone is represented at the table.

In my current role, I lead end‑to‑end go‑to‑market and seasonal planning operations across multiple business units and regions. I own planning frameworks, milestone governance, and execution rhythms that support dozens of concurrent deliverables across forecasting, assortment planning, and product launches.I manage enterprise planning timelines and data‑delivery milestones, coordinating work across 20+ cross‑functional partners to ensure accurate, on‑time inputs for commercial and operational decision‑making. I also develop and present multi‑year strategic planning analyses, translating complex data into executive‑ready insights covering growth, mix, and channel strategy.A core part of my role is driving operating rhythm, facilitating recurring working sessions, planning forums, and leadership touchpoints to unblock risks, improve adoption, and keep teams aligned. I also build and maintain scalable planning tools and playbooks that standardize processes and improve execution speed across teams.
