About Alexis Restum
Currently working for Rights and Resources Initiative (RRI), providing assistance to the organization\'s President and Board of Directors as they work to support the RRI coalition of Indigenous Peoples, local communities, and Afrodescendants in Latin America, Asia, and Africa. In May 2023, I graduated from Clark University, earning an accelerated M.A. in International Development with a focus on human rights and the environment. This degree came a year after earning my B.A. in International Development with a specialization in Peace & Conflict Studies, and a minor in Environmental Science at the same institution.As well as a background researching FPIC and extractive industry, I have multiple years of experience in both educational and peace-building youth work. I am currently working to publish research on girl\'s leadership development alongside faculty from Clark University\'s Department of Sustainability and Social Justice.
