ABOUT ALEXIS PEREZ-GOMEZ
From my early fascination with technology during the DOS era to my current role as a Full Stack Developer, my journey in the tech world has been nothing short of exhilarating. With over four years of experience in JavaScript, Python, HTML, CSS and React, I\'m on a mission to make a meaningful impact in the realm of software development. My journey includes a unique blend of roles, from supporting the war on terrorism by building databases during my military service to working as a contractor, where I honed my skills in full-stack development. One notable achievement was crafting an entire online presence for a client, resulting in an impressive 80% boost in revenue. My aspirations are high. I aim to become a Full Stack Engineer and eventually, step into a Senior position where I can lead teams in tackling ambitious projects. I bring a robust skill set, including JavaScript, Python, React, Django, SQL, HTML, CSS and more, complemented by my leadership and teamwork capabilities. My work ethic is unwavering. I don\'t stop until the job is done and failure is never an option. I thrive on troubleshooting and finding solutions, no matter the challenge or how long it takes to crack it. In my current role, what I enjoy most is mentoring and leading my team to achieve our mission. Being able to guide and develop others is truly fulfilling. I\'ve always embraced the evolving tech landscape, adapting to new technologies and staying at the forefront of industry trends. Learning and growth are constants in my journey. Beyond work, I\'m dedicated to personal growth. I nurture my faith in Islam, immerse myself in Quranic studies, and embrace lifelong learning through platforms like Coursera. Currently, I\'m pursuing certificates in Google Project Management and Automation with Python. As a Full-stack Developer, a tech enthusiast, and a father of two wonderful girls, I\'m on a mission to make a difference in the tech world while enjoying every moment of this incredible journey.
